Ignore the Spectre : and make a run for it. As you approach the corner of the rock where the : Brutes on Ghosts first appear, hit your invisibility. Then, jack one of : the ghosts. Proceed further in to the first Brute Wraith, abandon your : Ghost (preferably under some cover), go invisible again and jack the : Wraith. Now, you may proceed with shooting Brutes in a barrel. : Oh, and this I didn't post. About using the Banshee for Scarab escort... : Don't bother. Fly over to the nearest Brute Wraith (I usually take the one : on the right, as it is unlikely to come under Scarab fire), and jack it. Actually, there's an easier way to handle this. If you're playing on Heroic or lower, just leave the Wraith alive somewhere underneath the platform. Instead of taking one of the Banshees the Elites drop off for you, drop down off the platform and take the Wraith. You'll be much better off. If you're on Legendary, you have to make sure you jack one of the two Brute wraiths near the beginning of the level, guarding the first door, and leave it under the platform. Taking out the Brute wraiths, spectres, and even banshees between you and the control room is a heckuva a lot easier in the Wraith than it is in a Banshee, you're very right about that. And those turrets? You don't even have to bother with them. You don't even need the banshee at the end. You can drive a spectre on top of the control room itself and drop down onto the platform from above, and finish the level without ever touching a banshee, if you like. : However, don't get in. As soon as you kill the Brute driver, jump off and : run because one of the other Wraiths has probably just opened up on you. : Run towards it, and just before you get in range of its plasma guns, go : invisible. Then, jack it and use it to take out everything else, up : through the spectres. Then, grab the Banshee parked nearby and either do : some dogfighting, or just head on to the control room door and wait. You : will probably have to at least dogfight two banshees that will spawn : between you and the control room. I have found that legendary doesn't feel : so abusive when fighting like this, and it feels good to bring the hammer : down after all of the abuse you have probably taken from fighting on : legendary. : Cheers.
