I understand the mood you were trying to set with the animation, but we've all seen enough Master Chief cinematics to know it looks slightly askew. The pace and movement need to be quickened a bit. Also, it does not appear that his legs are actually moving. Looks more like you just made him bob up and down. Get some vidcaps of the Halo 2 cinematics and really analyze the Master Chief's movement. Another thing I'd like to point out is the pipe hanging down from the ceiling towards the middle of the clip. It doesn't have as much detail as everything else in the scene. You can see the faces of this object quite clearly, and it looks like you applied a basic lambert shader to the model. It's just sort of out of place. Still, I give you props for constructing this whole clip by yourself - it's a lot of work. Just curious if you used any post-effects or compositing for the light flicker and the steam? Keep up the good work.
