In Response To: Re: 25 Things needed in Halo 3 (Scarab) I'd like to see changes to chief.. like.. the abilty to RUN.. hmmm that might come in handy. especially when ghosts and banshees are flying around shooting at you. and the only thing you have is that phenomanally slow walking speed.. How about a MAP.. those pesky little things that allow you to find where you are and where you need to go.. Or golly gee whiz.. how about the ability to go to the prone position.. really really handy when trying to shoot at thing in open ground.. How about being able to roll? Dropping and rolling has saved more than a few lives in combat.. why can't these guys implement it like other games do? As for weaponry.. how about a stinger type missle to take out banshees and ghosts.. This is after all supposed to be futuristic... Maybe even a better type of rifle that does not require 5 shots to take down the grunts... The ability to carry more than 4 grenades... if you can carry 4 of each type.. why can't you carry 8 of either?? And has anyone noticed how odd it is that the pistol has a scope but not the rifle?? So these geniuses (or is it geniusi??) put a scope on to be able to shoot 50 yds accurately.. but then nothing to shoot 200 or more yds.. exluding sniper rifles.. heck even the bazooka has a scope.. How about something with the ability to lay down some serious fire.. Like the M240B MG, or the M249 SAW.. "
Some control over events would be nice. The most used command would be 'don't drive!' the second would be 'hang back' or 'don't even breathe until I tell you to attack' :-) " that and GET THE F OUTTA MY WAY.. Just love how sometimes when you are aiming those bozos jump right in front of your shot.. A grenade launcher would be really nice.. of course that would mean not having to dodge and kill brutes to get theirs, and where is the fun in that? One thing I would really love is to be able to arm yourself for the mission.. and not get the standard rifle and pistol the game keeps giving you. YOu know.. get the mission brief then hit the armory for the weapons you will need. Nah that is way to fantasy to be realistic
