He used the Halo CE (Custom Edition) game, which is a free to Hal oCP users, multiplayer only version of the Halo PC game but with an editing kit so you can create custom maps. see www.halomaps.org for more info on maps and the game. The Halo CE game has a developer mode function built into the game so that you can detach the camera from the first person and move it around - great for filming. I believe he either created some of the tags or used tags others created and tinkered with them to complie the map he used. The Halo CE game is sort of the step child of Halo PC but it is very powerfull because it supports custom maps - not mods (modifications) but uniquely designed user created maps.
