This might be long, but this needs to be read by every single one of you that still plays Xbox Live.
Ok, so about five minutes ago, I accidentaly met up with a few Hbo denizens in a game of Team Training, Battle Creek Neutral Bomb. I've been posting here and hanging out here for a long, long time, since about a month after the release of the original halo and can honestly say I have yet to play with a single one of you on live or anywhere else. Then again, five minutes ago I had the, uhh "not so pleasure", of playing with Kp, Goatrope, and Retsamolah, along with some other guy, chaos something, that I honestly hadn't ever heard of. I went into the match thinking, "Hey, I know these guys from Hbo, this is going to end up being a nice clean game, none of that trash talk and just plain rudeness that mucks up matchmaking lately." or summat to that effect. So first off, I sent them all three friend invites, seeing as how I hadn't played with them before, figured it'd be nice to keep track of em. Obviously I was wrong. What followed was fifteen minutes of the exact opposite of what I would expect of someone who's been in this community for so long. It was just as bad as matchmaking, with the yelling, taunting, mocking, and swearing. Basically the four reasons we had stopped playing matchmaking for the night. There was a girl on our team as well, named Krystyn, and she got abuse too, not so much as she gets sometimes, but still, shit that shouldn't have been said, was being said.
The one question is, like the subject proclaims, is just this.
Is the the way that all of you act here?
Honestly, if it is, don't count me as one of you anymore. I've been visiting Hbo for a long time, and had nothing but the utmost respect for everyone in the community until tonight. I just don't know now. What the hell, I remember one man on our team, ThaJinx, actually said once "Hey look, We don't care if your beating, that's not the problem, it's you guys being rude, just go ahead and play the game, with out all the smack talk" I'm not sure how much the three of you heard of that, over the yelling "Haha, we're winning, are you sure?" "Hey man, I didn't think we were winning!" "Hah, yea we're beating you guys, you all suck" When the score just happened to be 2-0. We ended up just stopping after that, and the game ended soon after, but honestly, why should we be put through that.
Please, all I want to know, is why people, especially from HBO, have to act like this?
This isn't a personal attack, at least, not truely. I want to know why you guys think playing like this is alright, your not making yourselves seem very welcoming. This isn't coming from some random asshole on Xbox live, just trying to get back for losing a game either, check around, see how long I've been posting here. Try these other names too "DantesVenom" "Teej" "Fork" "Tjfallon" "Tejicus", my names changed every time my email has. Our group of four that they so happened to be playing against are part of EvadeEvadeEvade, we were all crewmembers from ILB, not just random immature kids that picked up a controller. Check around, I'm not lying about this.
