Actually, I liked the lens flare in the movie. It wasn't the overdone utterly gratuitous effect I was worried might be there. Instead, it was kinda low-key.
As far as the AI is concerned, yeah, well, game designers tend not to be best players out there... my experience is that whenever I play on a level I made, I'm constantly distracted by ideas for how to make it better, or noticing things I missed, so I get my butt kicked.
Dunno if Joe is a level designer, but mebbe he has a similar problem.
