Here is what a lack of keyboard means to all of us Mac/PC users. NO CHAT. Halo is supposed to be a team game, and everyone knows you can not have a team game unless you can communicate. Sure, you can use the hand signals, but you don't know if a guy is telling you to go there of to look out for enimies from over there. If X-box does not come with a keyboard, this reason alone should make it so that it comes out on Macs/Pcs. I can just see moving my cursor using a control stick over the virual keyboard while in the heat of battle now, oh how great that will be. Mouse: You have to be joking not to use this for a game such as Halo. Deep down inside Halo is a FPS with a TPS disguise on (I am not objecting to TPS but making the point that at heat Halo is a FPS) I am sure some of you have played a game like Turok on N64 before. This is the only control scheme that works due to be able to look up and down quick., and it sucks! I can't tell you how frustrating it is. After using a mouse for a week and coming off teh keyboard I was loving it and really good at it. After months of Turok, the control scheme still sucks. The point being of all of this: If Halo goes X-box only, the controls will kill it. In order for it to survive you are going to have to make it on both Mac/PC and X-box.
