In Response To: A Lot of New Faces *Guide**Long* (The Se7enth Prophet) Prophet, let's see how long you've been at this forum. Hm. You've been here for little over a month. For starters, your guide is apparently for newcomers. Many people on this forum would consider you a newcomer yourself. Next, on to Shishka. He has wrote a few guides in his time. In addition to that, he attends most HBO Lans, works for Bungie and plays an important role in keeping the community together. Also, he wrote this guide about two years ago. At that stage, he would have been in the Bungie community for 8 years. Now it's ten. People have every right to respect him. He knows the ropes. I'm not saying you have to be a long-time poster to be a respected person, but you definitely require a reputation. In addition to that, your guide is exactly the same as the guides in the top right with a few things added on. In fact, you even pasted Shishka's disclaimed which contained lines like, "I do not accept any responsibility...". If it was quoted from Shishka, then that means Shishka does not accept responsibility. If this was looked at in legal terms, Shishka would be completely safe from the law. Just nitpicking. It's pretty obvious judging by your post that you want a place in that corner or a newspost on HBO. I've stopped being that sort of person. I tried making one of these: An anti-flame guide. I got flamed. A lot. I learned my lesson. Se7enth, I'm being a lot nicer than I could be. Don't respond with something like, "I completely understand and I am actually happy you gave me critism because it is where I can improve". Just take the advice, learn from it and try a stunt like this after people know you a little better, okay? :) If anyone has any problems with this post, go right ahead. ~_^
