The first draft for Prophets looks, well, familiar... like a half-remembered dream. (Or the fellow in red down on the lower left corner.) I don't feel comfortable scanning in and posting the concept sketch, but it's on p.41 of the Art of Halo. -- Steve's been making a lot of references to that book when making story speculation these days. It's a treasure-trove!
