(p.217, : FS)" : This quote, taken from the FS, gives credit to there being a training center : in Mars' orbit, and it adds to the argument that the MP maps (Chiron = : Chiron TL34, possibly) are related to the storyline... in some way. I missed this. Interestingly, it's on page 219 in my copy; makes me nervous about all the times I've given page numbers out.) ::shrug:: Okay, so the base was included in First Strike - which could easily have been the story team tying in an existing piece, rather than some bigger, overarching scheme. And as zugy points out, it actually plays against your theory. Li was a standard Spartan; if you believe that the secret base on Mars was set up by Ackerson for Spartan clones, there's no absolutely no way Ackerson would allow REAL Spartans to visit the facility, and potentially learn of his project. : I hope that statement isn't a blow to me, because I was rather enjoying our : conversation:) It wasn't a blow at all - it was simply an acknowledgement that we've reached the point where it comes down to pure opinion; there is no more 'real' evidence to be presented. I can't add anything to my argument that hasn't already been said; if I haven't convinced you to consider that there's less to the multiplayer blurbs than you want to imbue them with by now, I never will, so there's really no point in continuing the discussion. That was all.
