Well, I think that is the stupidest fucking thing I have heard all day.
First off, the odds of finding an intellegent alien race (such as the Covenant) out there, and that they would get a hold of a copy of Halo and find it offensive is astronomicaly small.
Second, killing aliens is OK in videogames as long as it's not humans? When was the last time someone got pissed off at someone else for shooting a Nazi in "Metal of Honor"? I'm sure if that person was in a real kill-or-be-killed situation with a real Covenant soldier, they probably wouldn't think twice about firing off a shot.
