I do not hate you, I just do not like your "methods" of critique. Please remember, you do not have to like the work, but you do have to respect it. Respect other's work and you will have your critiques honoured. Non-CG artists will always applaud work they feel deserves accolade. If people are massivley applauding something it is because they persoanlly feel it is good, or the subject matter itself appeals to them greatly. You will always have "fanboy comments" mixed artistic comments. Still, even though the majority of the members are professionals, you will still get "fanboy comments". "Fanboy comments" are not to be dismised as useless either, they invoke an emotion enough for someone to post their feelings and share them with you. Find out what those feelings are... Learn to live with the applauding commentary and do not turn a whole forum against you by bashing the general populace. Also, I suggest you visit www.cgtalk.com, a forum where honest critique lives. I mentioned the "blacklist" comment only to send out as strong point as I felt I could... Networking is a part of the industry. Everytime you publicly post you represent yourself and what you stand for, you would be best to remember that, especially for someone still wet behind the ears. Industry people lurk everywhere, you never know who is listening. It is easy to burn bridges and even harder to rebuild them. You are NOT on my "blacklist", I am very forgiving where a lot of my peers are not... Please be courteous to your fellow artist. Be mindful of their work and they will be mindful of yours. Think beofre you post. Good luck in the future Chris, and I hope to see more posts from you in the future...the constuctive kind of posts of course...
