no, no you do not deserve to be flamed, and are right to complain... unless of course you happen to use a mac (i am not making any presumptions here... wait... yes i am, you dont use a mac... its okay, i wont hold it against you, except for your lack of knowledge)

so, the story begins... look at the post by vid boi earlier... the bungie time schedule... that was something posted on bungie's website when they missed their preliminary release date for Marathon, the most anticipated game in 1994 (and the game engine copied and updated for halo)

so, the story continues, and the constant badgering of the poor bungie programmers for the release date of Marathon 2: Durandal, and all they said is it will be released "when it's done"

i am happy that the purchase of bungie has not swayed them from their true ideals, and making an excellent game, that "when it's done" will absolutely blow you away

so get used to it, as long as bungie is making games, the official release date from bungie will be "when it's done"... i dealt with it until 2001, and dont think that those were a difficult two years from MacWorld 1999, until that fateful day when i lost one of the great joys in my life

oh yeah, if you really want to know, halo was due for release on the mac in 2001, about the same time that it came out for Xbox

so, dont complain that it is too long, until you have to wait four years for a game, only to find out that you need all new hardware just to run it
