RvB Lincoln Center: Impressions..to be continued | |

In Response To: RvB Lincoln Center: Impressions (Dark Impaler) I was probably one of the first people there, as I ended up sitting behind where the cast was signing autographs, and as such, was asked to sign some copies myself when people mistook me for a castmember :) (I declined) Anyhow, aside from getting the first ever set of signatures from everybody on my DVD, including the lovely Tex(who also signed an animated version of her character), I got to talk more personally with each of the cast members as they set up and prepared for the night's events. Everybody was extremely nice and easy to chat with. After a short while, my girlfriend and I met up with Miguel and his son Raphael(sp?),who was the coolest guy btw, and Count Zero and Nukedude joined us shortly thereafter. We all took our seats and enjoyed the show....and what a show it was. I commented to our group that I had probably seen each episode 8 or 9 times and the entire DVD thrice. It didn't matter, since I was in a room full of RvB lovers, and that made it an experience all to itself. The most amazing thing to me was, if you hadn't seen the DVD yet, a showing in a room with all those huge fans wasn't a good place to see it first. All the jokes, and I mean all of them were muffled under the laughter that would come a few seconds early because we all knew the jokes and simply couldn't hold it in until the joke was uttered completely. It would appear to an outsider, that we were all morons for laughing at something that wasn't yet funny... ******Spoilers for season 2 below*************** . . . . Anyhow, next season looks to be very promising, with the addition of new characters, (purple guy=Medic Dufresne) and the end of some others....no more mexican robots ***sniff*** we can all expect fresh material as the storyline of Reds fighting Blues hopefully carries us into more laughs. Between Miguel's videocamera, and my digital camera and voice recorder, we should have quite a lot of media for you in the near future... Anyhow, in summary, Great show! RvB rules! -gwdpto
