In Response To: Associated Press Halo PC review (GlennKM) After reading that review (rant) I have come to the following conclusiions: 1. He is an idiot 2. He does not understand the programming standards that are different from Xbox and the PC 3. He has the attention span of a fly on crack. 4. He does not play games period. 5. He is most likely a 12 year old who pretends to be a full fledged writer, and keeps it concealed by working from home. 6. He thinks a $400 Dell machine can run top of the line games. 7. He thinks a broadband connection is a 33.6k Modem. 8. He thinks broadband should increase his frame rates, and improve his graphics. 9. He is blind for thinking that Halo is ugly and behind the times, if you have a PC powerful enough to play it at is highest, the game is drop dead gorgeous. 10. He thinks that FPS games should flow like movies where the entire game goes in 2 hours, but fails to see the fact that if the game only last 2 hours, no one will bother playing it again. 11. He has a large wooden object embedded in his nether regions. 12. He thinks a high-end computer can only be purchased through expensive PC makers like Dell, Compaq, IBM, and the like. Apparently he doesn't get the idea that most PC gamers make their own machines. My brother has put together a top-flight, kicks even Alienware's ass PC for under $2000. 13. His writing talents are limited to that of a 3rd grader; there is no structure to his writing. 14. He does not understand the idea that the Xbox is a standard platform with no hardware variations of any kind. Whereas PCs range in hardware extremely. He does not get the idea of supporting more than one-type of rendering engine. 15. He is poor when he considers $50 too much to spend on a game. 16. He is an idiot. I could keep going but... well... I got other things to do... like signing him up for tons of disturbing email newsletters and spammings.
