Every Halo story element is contained within a single tome of knowledge called the Halo Story Bible. The books get their basis from it, the games are the direct result of it. The HSB is the organized thoughts and ideas that make the Halo universe.

Sybex is the company that Phod was contracted through to write the strategy guide for Halo PC.
