I never mentioned that you can detonate yourself. I only said that if you bump a Carrier Form, you will blow up automatically if you get close to an enemy. The same goes for Infection Forms, but you must get very close before you automatically pop. : i don't know about the tentacle whips, but for combat forms with weapons, you : can melee on command. with elites, you can both melee on command and do it : automatically. hunters you can only do it automatically, same as the gold : elite. Seeing as the tentacle whip isn't an attack using your weapon arm, it must activate automatically... Of course regular elites can melee on command... They have a gun in their hand. But the Gold Elite has a plasma sword, which is a strictly a melee weapon, so it's automatic... but we know that already. : apparently the one-shot-kill cheat doesn't work for 343GS, but instead only : makes him slide along the floor, or something. Maybe something to do with his AI-ness?
