Actually, it's not really a matter of rumors. Sony has released a list of companies who will be releasing games or products for the PSX2 format, and both Bungie, along with the specific title Halo were listed.

There HAVE been rumors about other platforms ... but those are just rumors until I see any kind of confirmation.
