Very nice, the only thing is, and I am not as good a writer as you!!!! :) But, as a fan ;) try not to use the repetition thing, "the marine looked to the sky", for when used a second time, it cuts down on the powerfulness of the first time u used it. Like this:
"The marine felt warm tears slide down his face... ... ... .... .. .... ... Sam the general felt warm tears trickle down his hot face" Using it AGAIN wears on the first time you used it. Just a tip ;)
