Earlier this year, Halo was spotted in Entertainment Weekly in a tiny blurb about all the cool internet-related things going on in 2000. It was oddly put up against "The Sims." In the part at the bottom in which EW chose which they thought was better, they said that while the Sims was very interesting, Halo appealed to everyone's "inner gamer." They said, and this, unlike all else I've said here, is not paraphrasing, "I'll take both please." Bummer. You'd think it would be a too-easy choice, but nooo...
