Snagged from Stomped.com: Best game Halo was, withour a doubt, the best looking game I saw during E3, and even though Bungie expo presentation did not give anyone a chance to actually play the game, the non-interactive movie has a ton of promise. The movie showed a number of new characters and vehicles not previously shown in any movie and filled in a little more on the sci-fi back story of the game. The setting, a artificial ring around a planet similar to Larry Niven's Ringworld novels, is very well done. The character models were impressive and the vehicles, both land and air based, were excellent. Officially, Bungie's PR folks at the expo were saying maybe Christmas of this year or first quarter of next year for Halo's release. Somehow, however, I don't think this ambitious title is going to make that deadline, but when it does, I will be first in line to buy the game. | |
