Actually, I think I know what you were going to say. People often wonder why we practically worship Bungie- I mean, they're just a software company, right? But they're not just any games company. Bungie has really done some awesome stuff for us in the past. You can start by looking at their quality standard- they don't make much, but what they do make is outstanding and usually raises the standard for other games of its type. They give us games with real storylines- something that, to me and probably many others, shows more respect for the intelligence of the average gamer than do games such as Quake - no offense to any Quake fans here.

They stuck by the Mac platform when no one else would. They were one of the first companies to release editors for their games, and then to promote the third-party creations of the user community through contests and such. Their attitude toward their fan community is much more admirable than that of some software companies I've seen; they actually come here to the Forums and talk to us, joke around with us, answer our questions when we have 'em (which is most of the time). Heck, they threw us a big party at Macworld SF last year.

So, yeah, we definitely admire Bungie- for their attitude towards their fans, and for making kick-ass games that don't discriminate on the basis of platform. Everyone digs Matt because A) he's the guy in the online asbestos suit who comes here and mingles with us B) the guy has a sharp sense of humor. Watch Day 4 of Bungie TV if ye doubt me ;)

Hope that clears up a few things,

-Nij
