For one. Bungie are very protective over the engine, and will be even when the game is out. For one, they have STATED the game is not in beta, so why would they be releasing a "programmers resource". A programmers resource for what?!? You get development kits for things like WAP and other open source issues. Halo IS NOT open source, Halo IS NOT there for every joe shmoe to be adding his own "tints" to the engine.
So wtf would bungie be releasing a "programmers resource".

This makes no sense whatsoever. Didnt we discover that the so called "beta" release was a 67 meg text file?
