Really lame explosions
Posted By: David Oosha <ajn@df-21.net>Date: 3/4/00 9:48 a.m.

In Descent I and II, Nanosaur, and the Falling Ship level in Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, when you lose there isn't some big-budget armageddon sequence with ceilings crashing down and fire speeding through hallways like Mount Kurek. It just fades to &@*#$^% white! If it didn't show the rock at the beginning of Nanosaur's ending sequence, I'd say it looked more like the impact of a Dreaming God. Why do people do this Phrik?! I hope it never happens in Halo.

About the Dreaming God, is he a timeless creature making waves? I read the page suggesting it might be a Wr'kncacnter or whatever, but it didn't explicitly state that the quote about waves referred to them.
