| In Response To: Scrapbook Pages 23-26 (REB) Continuing with the Zombie Pfhor, I can't belive these guys dropped this monster just like that! So what if the S'pht wouldn't turn their enemies into savages? Durandal and it's big ego would have done it instead. Let's say Durandal told the player in one terminal that he have found, buried deep into the Citadel, this ancient weapon that the S'pht never used. On another level, Durandal told the player he wants to use the weapon against the Pfhor that have boarded Boomer, but the S'pht keep telling him no because the ancient ones didn't know exactly what the weapon would do, that's why they didn't use it. Durandal says to the player: "They think they're smarter than me. I'll show them". On the next level, Blam! The player is teleported to Boomer and finds himself surrounded by the Zombie Pfhor. It's Miller Time! The S'pht that are still slaved by the Pfhor would have not been affected by the weapon, so while the player is showing the invaders the easiest way to cure themselves (let's call it the Grenade Therapy) they seal themselves on a part of the ship away from the Zombies and Durandal's core is disassembled - and the story goes on. Was it that hard to conceive? C'mon! | |
