	In Response To: Abandonware? (REB) : This is point of view: there's a new generation interested in Marathon and : they're having trouble because it's not longer being sale. Hamish is doing : the best he can pointing out every single marathon-related bid on ebay, : but that's not enough. I wonder if it's time to declare Marathon and PiD : abandonware, because that way they can be distributed freely along with : related items as the scrapbook. It is my pov, I just don't want my arse kicked by Bungie's asassin/lawyers :P I'm sure it would be fine.. if Hamish deems it so he can ask and i'll give him the URl to the zip of the scans.. they arn't all perfect, but I'd redo them better if I can for the comunity :) I dunno about declaring Marathon abandonware.. bungie still have a right to proffit -whoever they work for now ;)- maybe relaxed views on the free distrubution of marathon media? not my area or right to comment on. : I have no problem paying for these games, but here in Panama it's hard enough : finding a retailer that sells Mac software at all. And buying them over : the internet is not a good option either: I didn't buy the Mac Action Sack : because the shipping and handling costed twice the price of the sack! I : bet I'm not the only one on this situation. Yea until lrecently here in Scotland buying mac games was a no-no even now it's still bad, I had to get my dad to order likes of the Trilogy off the net when it came out and I wont say how much I spent in the US last summer during a holiday on games i didn't want to wait months just to order off the net in the UK. So I feel for you here, albeit less now I went all evil and built a PC for gaming.. ah well hope this clears up what I meant a bit, Jonathan
