	In Response To: Halo/Marathon Timeline (Malagigi) Greetings: Hamish and I worked on the timeline together and I can tell you why it reads 'this century intentionally left blank'. The answer is: there were not any events we could place in that century. Simple, neh? As far as the two timelines go... they share similarities, but they are obviously NOT in the same universe. I mapped both timelines together, just out of curiosity's sake, and the two cannot be made congruent. Example 1: If FTL drive was discovered in 2170 (Halo), why would anyone want to make Deimos into a STL colony ship in 2395 (Marathon)? Example 2: If teleportation was in common use around 2319 (Marathon), why don't we have any in Halo? Regardless of the differences, both timelines carry the indelible Bungie stamp. The cycles of internal conflict, consolidation, and expansion read very similarly in both timelines.
