	In Response To: Rubicon Volunteers - Final Screen (Steve Levinson) Before I comment I need to admit I haven't played Rubicon yet (I know, it's on my to do list...) This picture and text go pretty well with a player as Arthur (Pendragon, not Frane) theory... Son of ether, bastard child of magic and technology, victory's fabric, weaver, and loom Arthur was the bastard son of Uther Pendragon, made into mist by Merlin's magic You were always his favorite God's? The constant struggle - a pursuit of balance for one, escape for the other Kingly duty versus human passion Favors for favors, a sword, a microchip, a friend Excalibur, The Grail, Lancelot - Durandal, Durandal, Durandal For you know as well as I that you cannot be Destiny without being a Hero You are Destiny, and Arthur is a Hero (in the capital 'H' - archetype sense) And of course the picture represents the transfer of Excalibur/Durandal, once destroyed, but returned by the Lady of the Lake (Leela?/Thoth?) forged anew. Is there any content in Rubicon to support this crazed speculation? Or did I just get carried away by the pretty picture? - eli
