In Response To: Some real numbers :) (Mark Levin)

: Marathon 2 Final Screen:
: While Tau Ceti was being nuked down to bedrock in 2794, Pfhor scientists
: disassembled and removed the AI Leela from the Marathon, loading her
: aboard a vessel bound for the Pfhor homeworld. But the ship fell into the
: hands of a Nar privateer between jumps at Beta Naxos, and was never seen
: by the Pfhor again.
:

: Hmm... No mention of the rest of the ship there. The HoT List claims that the
: Marathon was bought by the Pfhor and put up for sale, but the terminals on
: which that theory is based are a bit too tongue-in-cheek for me to accept
: that :)

You're presumably talking about the M2 demo text on What About Bob? (Terminal 1: 2nd message)? This was subsequently dropped. No idea why. Since the Pfhor were able to dismantle Leela they obviously didn't destroy the Marathon at the same time as they pounded Tau Ceti to the bed rock.

: I seem to recall the Marathon being 8 km long, but I can't find proof in the
: terminals.

If memory serves made some comments about the length of Demios. In typical Greg fashion it was a seven I think. There should be accurate data on the size of Demios at NASA or some other such site.

Cheers
Hamish
