In Response To: Rubicon Volunteers - Not *This* Again (Steve Levinson)

: Now some might argue that Chris wasn’t very original here, basically
: copying the layout for the level from Bungie’s earlier versions.

I wasn't looking for originality when I did this level. B)

I noticed it had appeared in two Marathons already, so I thought it might be neat to let it appear a third time. (fourth, maybe? Has versions of this level appeared in other scenarios?)

: Some
: might even say that he violated their copyright by even using their
: original map as a starting point. After all, Apple wouldn't have hesitated
: to sue, even if Chris’ work brought them added revenue they’d have never
: seen.

Yikes! Don't tell Microsoft, will ya? We all know what they own and what they're like.. B(

: Actually playing the level is another story. This is disturbingly
: familiar, but this is an entirely different ship than anything we’ve
: encountered before. And finding the bridge is no trivial matter.

It's just a matter of going up. B)
