: So apparently Nf'arl is the seated Thinker that you find in that room? I
: thought they were computer specialists.

I don't think that you would need a Thinker for what passes as Pfhor computer science. Who knows what clan of Pfhor would serve as the military elite. I've seen some scenarios show them as hunters and even as cyborgs, but most seem to show them as enforcers. A thinker's got to outrank an enforcer.

: 3 guesses as to who...

You're absolutely right. I remember realizing this the first time I read it, but I forgot about it when I wrote today's post.

: I don't think we actually jumped, except in Evil, that is.

And sections of Marathon 1, if you recall. Remember the first time you came across a compiler, or when you rounded a corner only to be confronted by a looker or a wasp? M1 excelled at this.

: If killing pfhor is wrong, I don't want to be right. Though I guess we
: took out our share of BOBs too.

And in Infinity, we worked for Tycho.

: echoes of Bladerunner - replicants - battleroids -cyborg or robot?

Both or all of the above.

: Our innocence of Achilles? or ignorance?

Even when we manipulated the fate of the universe, we knew not what we did.

: Also, the text of the poem is in yellow. Isn't that the only time in the
: game that yellow is used as a term text?

Is it yellow in the actual game? So much of the text appears in the wrong colors in DTB or Pfhorge that I no longer trust it.
