So the SO answered to the distress call from the Marathon (or was he just coincidentally on his way there for another reason?) while the 9 other cyborgs were undercover planetside. It's just weird that we never actually see this planet ingame. The marathon must have been in orbit under (or over? Galactic space is relative) Tau Ceti !V. Is the memory of his father from Mars, or Tau Ceti IV? The (possibly fabricated) details get blurry with his scrambled brain.
