Well, there is Squad's KSP, but that's not really a story driven game at this point. Its a lot of fun, but its a space and air flight sim, not a fantasy story shooter or RPG. Also, at this point its single player.
If you watch the videos at the link, those are mostly scripted for that purpose. The actual game doesn't have that. Also, don't let the little green aliens fool you. They are a relatively minor component to the game. You build rockets, planes, whatever; and these you fly (if you're lucky). Its worth the price.
