Heh, that's good to hear. And I certainly don't think ill of you, either! Or think that you were being rude or anything; it just seemed odd to me that no one seemed interested in speculating at all, and quick to dismiss the references entirely.

Okay, I understand what you mean a bit better now. I do agree that interpretations of or theories about things in the story aren't themselves part of the story; in the particular case of the grimoire cards, though, their text makes up a LOT of the actual canon story in Destiny (at least this got a bit better with all the cutscenes and extra dialogue in Taken King), so I'm reluctant to throw out any of it even as "just an easter egg." But I see where you're coming from.
