You make some valid points. Thanks for laying out your thoughts on this. I agree that what an 'acceptable loss' is for the Pfhor may be deemed a slaughter by others. The old Pyrrhic victory again. However, the whole tone of the Ne Cede Malis events is one in which Durandal has completely annihilated Battle Group Seven. He is the victor and as he says himself:
In the Manual story, Durandal is on the back foot, he is the one retreating. He is not the victor. Thus I am seeing more evidence to suggest that these are different timelines rather than the same timeline. Cheers
