Yup. Done it many times. Good fun. Not too much reward, though, other than the sheer accomplishment of hopping such a long ways. At least there's a 1x Health Recharger so we can do repeat attempts or just fix up the damage we did by getting up there. Now, it's probably wiser to take out the Compilers before doing the grenade hop. That way you have more open space and corners to hide behind as you fight them.
