Oh, I know it wasn't what you meant; I just went through a memory dump rebooting the parts of me that remember PiD, and trying to psyche myself up for some more grindy grindy fun. That was triggered by the idea to find a big straight line in a randomly-generated Labyrinth; the part of the post that wasn't threadjack was just about suggesting I'd Rather Be Surfing. Now that I think about it, Ground Floor should be rectilinear enough for any testing purposes. I bet Ghouls don't actually throw much of a fastball.
To get back to the threadjack, if you're cheating you can set time, inventory, and location, so it's pretty moot--you probably can't win the game before it starts, but anything after that is fair game. If you're cheating for ammo and go the Pipes-->Easter Egg-->Bomb sprint route, you'll probably do a few minutes faster than me--I've had to take a few extra seconds here and there for ammo caches and the occasional dodge.
