On the Road Again...

Boy, the last real activity regarding PiD was back in September! This is totally unacceptable! To start up the PiD activity again, here's two questions which, if answered, might prove interestingly fun and useful, but which I cannot find any answers to:

1. How large is a given map sector in PiD, in real-world units? More specifically, what's the length of each of the sides of a sector, in real-world units? I'm guessing it'll be some number of meters, but you never can tell with sectors. ;)
2. How fast does our character move, in sectors-per-minute? From this and the first bit of information, I can figure out how fast our character moves in meters- or feet-per-minute.

These could prove to be very interestingly useful pieces of information, in ways we never expected. If you've got an answer, I would be very grateful for it.
