A little pedanticism here - this secret pattern buffer was in the original Marathon as well. I found it because of the secret door down the hallway near the secret pattern buffer (IIRC). I started action-buttoning like mad all up and down that hallway to make sure I wouldn't run into another trap - I was almost out of health - when hey presto! Secret save! Made that level a lot easier. I was glad to see that Raul kept it. I don't remember if the buffer showed up in Pfhorte or not - it doesn't seem to be visible in REB's post with the map above (http://forums.bungie.org/story/?read=6175). Anyone else remember? Was this a well-known secret or not?
