but the only issue with that is that you have no Pale Violet Potions at the time you reach Watch Your Step; the only ones are below it, and you cannot proceed through Lasciate without the Green Crystal. (You can't backtrack after you get the first one by Barney, either, what with closing doors and Green Oozes, but that's a secondary problem.)
fiendishly-constructed plug on the no-damage dreams... unless there's a Pale Violet we don't know about or an alternate way of killing Sentinels, the only way this plan could work is through cheating.
: Hmmm... on reflection this might work if after taking the Pale Violet Potion
: a pod explosion will still kill the reptiles. You might have enough time
: to go down collect the bomb, the green crystal, the two sapphires and get
: out, making sure you step on a pod just before you leave. Would need
: someone to test it.
: This would allow you to continue a no damage run through the game. :)
