The Drinniol here survived the trih xeem because we brought them on board the Dreadnaught (which can withstand a trih xeem), and then after the trih xeem went off we helped them capture the returning Pfhor flagship before we blew up the Dreadnaught.
Also, there are lots of Drinniol elsewhere across the Pfhor empire already. These are just the ones who started their empire-spanning revolution. Which eventually failed and left the Drinniol in bondage again, but at least it set the Pfhor empire back by centuries.
