In Response To: Eternal volunteers: L.08 to L.10 (pfhore) Level 08: "Core Done Blew" (Created by Adam Ashwell, his first and almost only actual map contribution to the project. The title was originally from a map that Bill Wilkinson never finished, which would have been in place of "Roots and Radicals", but I liked it so much it got transplanted to this level. It is, of course, a play on the phrase "cordon bleu", French for "blue ribbon" and used to describe fine cuisine. Originally this map was titled "I Can't Believe It's Not Total Carnage".) You teleport into another part of the Marathon, after successfully destroying the wireless relay on "Sakhmet Rising". There is a terminal nearby. [L08-T0-Unfinished] After pushing some switches and then failing to get anywhere, you must return to this terminal. [L08-T0-Finished] As you make your way through the level, you encounter some S'pht reading terminals. [L08-T2-Finished] [L08-T5-Finished] [L08-T7-Finished] [L08-T3-Finished] Later on, while running around in the sewers, you find yourself stuck at a dead end. Thankfully, there is a terminal. [L08-T4-Finished] Later still, after smashing the distributor wires and with nowhere left to go, another terminal comes in handy. [L08-T6-Finished] Finally, back near the start, you are able to access a formerly locked off area, where another terminal awaits you. [L08-T1-Finished] You teleport out to Level 9: "Heart Of Fusion"
