"...and yet the wheel rolls ever onward, and we caught in the tread are carried into a new day blinking for the light. And when the night falls we are carried to rest in the bitter cold, so dark after the glories of day."
:)
: "...how sad I am to see [the MSF] appearing to die, whispering."
: If you've ever played the Myth series (or anything with a wheel-based
: metaphor, like the S'pht’s view of time...) the Marathon Story Forum goes
: in cycles of activity - light and dark. Since at least 2001, I can
: remember three different threads on three different years complaining
: hamish didn't post anymore or that posts were dwindling.
: It's true; many of the mysteries of the canon (Bungie-created) Marathon
: universe are recorded, and filed somewhere nearly on a shelf. What gives
: the community, and in turn the forum life isn't news posts by Hamish. It's
: us; what we create and discuss. It was all so 'old hat', I doubt anyone
: would be around to say so.
: Cheers,
