When I first read your suggestion, I thought "aha!", since the monster the player is supposed to exterminate isn't usually an enemy, and I hadn't tweaked the marine settings anyway.
Now that I have tried, however, I find that the level still starts as being "finished". *sigh*
This isn't the first extermination level I've made, but it's the first one that's giving me trouble. (when I wrote the subject line for this thread, I forgot about one of my extermination levels that most certainly *do* work in AO)
