All right, it seems that it does work on Windows or certain Windows computers anyway. In reference to resting instead of getting potions it is doubtful that such a thing will happen. Unfortunately for all of us old Pathways players the Marathon engine is not the most compatible with PiD. Sadly, unless I'm told there is a way to do it there will be no resting.
In an earlier post somone asked if there would be role-playing (leveling and stuff) like in the old PiD. Again because of engine limitations there will not be a great amount of leveling etc. You get stronger potions which give you more health (the equivalent of x2 energy powerup or a x3). Also i'm sad to report that you will not be picking up all of those goodies scattered throughout PiD. They will stay where you find them.
Yes I know this sounds like there's a lot missing out and a lot changing but don't worry about it, in the end will be very much like the old PiD. You will be able to talk to those dead guys! And originally a certain (my favorite) crystal was not going to be able to make it into the final game. However I think I might actually be able to incorporate it. On another note if anyone thinks they know how to make an earthquake effect in Marathon please let me know.
