I solved the problem by rejigging the lighting set to not be set as "initially active". This also involved swapping the inactive values with the actives ones (and vice versa).

Thus, all I needed to trigger a platform was one switches activation. Pretty simple.

Thanks for everyones input. WMaiD is back on track. Again.
