And If you get M1A1, you should definetly come by the 'Aleph One' chat room on AIM, (or just message me: OriG3). Thats where, with the aid of Aleph One, we get internet games going, and it is a hell of a lot of fun.
And as for the mapmaking, you are right. While there are good bits, it isn't the most shining part of the original marathon. But just wait. Marathon 2 and Marathon Infinity will absolutley blow your mind and drive you insane with complex puzzles and intense action. No, I'm not a paid actor.
Great to hear of a new addict. There must be some sort of resurgence of Marathon in the Emmersonian oversoul due to the anniversary, there are two more newbies around on the chat room as well!
