how about this one - the sleeping god misses earth entirely, 65 million years before pathways even starts, and hits the pfhor homeworld instead. the jjaro aren't as sympathetic towards them, leading to their destruction and a lack of human first contact until we run into the covenant. or does that not count as happening during pathways?
