Indeed, my sniper rifle physics are about the closest Aleph One can get to perfect accuracy. The bullets have no inaccuracy whatsoever, but when one plays in a big map (like my Windy City I/II), they start to realize the limits of the engine, specifically that you can only turn in 1/512 of a circle increments. It's still possible to aim between those discrete jumps by sidestepping a little, however.

Shameless plug: Windy City II with the sniper rifle is a really fun map that turns Marathon's action into a cool, calculating kind of excitement. The sniper rifle itself comes with a silencer, scope, laser sight, and a warning sound when somebody's training their sight on you. This is all done with just a physics model. Many people who frequent the Aleph One AIM room have seen it. I hope to assemble and upload all my maps together...sometime, any day now, really ;-).

Another way to test out one's ballistics skill is to force certain weapons on him. I've toyed with the idea of making a library of lua scripts people could plug into their game, each changing gameplay in a small way like mutators in Unreal Tournament. One such script could convert all weapons in a map to pistols.
