: That's quite a hint you gave me, but I'm not sure it's implemented in the
: release version of Mk II. What I'm assuming you intended to do was to
: shift the Lela exit to a different terminal if you fail to beat the clock.
: There are only two other visible terminals on the level, and they both
: tell the player to get to the emergency jump pad. I've searched high and
: low and uless you have hidden another terminal somewhere else incredibly
: well, I think it's not implemented. If I'm missing something, let me know
: and I'll keep looking.
Um, wait... I think we may be talking about completely different levels. I'm talking about "War and Peace", level 14. Are you talking about "G3 Moontanning", level 4? I'm not sure but somehow I thought you were talking about War and Peace... maybe you said Level 4 and I just thought Chapter 2 Level 4 automatically. Anyway, yeah... L04, "G3 Moontanning" is still the same puzzle as before, just with two minutes added to the clock. L14, "War And Peace", has a similar but nonidentical puzzle in which, after a timer runs out, an inactive terminal becomes active and offers you an exit (whether or not you have completed your mission), and the terminal you thought you would exit by becomes inactive, BUT, you can still exit with the character you expected and continue the Success branch if you go out of your way back to the only other terminal on the level, which previously had only another rant from Hathor, but after completing the mission objectives gives you the Success exit. It's basically to make players THINK "oh crap, I didn't do it in time, guess I gotta go with this guy", when in fact there's nothing to stop you from completing your mission still and continuing on as planned. Your mission itself is not on any kind of time limit, you're just told to hurry before bad people show up, but them showing up doesn't stop you from doing what you came here to do.
